How to Play Last Man Standing

A simple knockout prediction game with one rule: pick a team to win each week, but you can only use each team once.

The Objective

Be the last player remaining by correctly predicting winning teams each gameweek. Choose wisely — you can only use each team once per season.

1

Pick One Team Per Week

Each gameweek, select one team from the available fixtures that you think will win their match.

Win: If your team wins, you advance to the next week

Draw or Loss: You're eliminated from the game

2

No Repeats Allowed

Once you've used a team, you cannot pick them again for the rest of the season. Strategy is key — save the strongest teams for crucial weeks!

💡 Pro Tip: Don't waste Manchester City in Week 1 against a weak opponent. You might need them later when fixtures get tougher!

3

Selection Deadlines

Selections must be made before the first match of the gameweek kicks off. The game creator sets the deadline (typically 1 hour before first kickoff).

Miss the Deadline?

Depending on game settings, you'll either be eliminated or auto-assigned the lowest-ranked available team.

Postponed Matches?

If your selected match is postponed, you are eliminated. Postponed matches may not be rescheduled for weeks or months, and the game must continue.

4

Winning the Game

The game continues until only one player remains. That player is crowned the champion!

What if everyone gets eliminated?

If all remaining players are knocked out in the same week, the game uses one of these tiebreakers:

  • Revive & Continue: All players come back and the game rolls over to next week
  • End with No Winner: Game ends with no champion (less common)
